Happy Friday, Loves! What better way to end the week than with these adorable kaleidoscope print shorts...which were only $10, by the way! I love bottoms that have a fun print (you've probably noticed this by now) because they help to create a look that stands out... even when paired with the most basic of tops.  I also have to point out these Simply Vera sandals from Kohl's - aren't they adorbs? I've been eyeing them for a couple of months now (ever since I allowed my gal pal to scoop up the last pair of 8.5's at our local Kohl's)!

Happy Thursday! Lately, I've been throwing a denim jacket on over almost everything. This is exactly what happened in the winter with my leather jacket. The denim jacket, like the leather jacket, is a great way for me to contrast the dressy/girlie styles that I love. While I had a tough time finding a denim jacket that fit me well, I recently found this one at Gap and couldn't be more in love with it. I've already worn it several times, and I'll go ahead and warn you - you may see this jacket a lot over the next couple of months :) Have you invested in a denim jacket yet? Hi y'all, Happy Wednesday! I am currently LOVING the harem pants trend... and not just because they're as comfortable as my favorite pajama pants ;) I can't lie, I was hesitant about this style of pants when they first started appearing everywhere. I have a very athletic build, and I was worried that the loose fit would make my legs appear large(r). However, I've been pleasantly surprised almost every time I try on a pair of harem pants. I feel as though the high-waist fit elongates my legs and slims out my frame - YES PLEASE! What do you think about harem pants... have you given them a try yet?!

Hi Everyone - I hope you had an amazing Memorial Day weekend! Gosh, isn't it tough going back to work after a 3-day weekend?! I always have such a hard time getting back into the groove of things. 

Today I'm wearing this vibrant Kate Spade abstract-print skirt to work. As is detailed above, I scooped this beautiful skirt up at Marshall's... for $99.99 (while the original price was $298). This skirt is the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe, and I love that I can wear it to work (as shown here) or to a bridal shower/brunch with my girlfriends (perhaps with a cute pair of wedges and bright tank top).  This skirt was such an incredible find... what's the last great deal you scored?!

Happy Hump Day! I hope you're week has been great so far - only a couple of days left until the weekend!  If you haven't noticed already, I'm a HUGE Kohl's fanatic! I've literally been shopping at Kohl's since I was in high school :) I was so excited when Kohl's announced the Peter Som for DesigNation line! Sadly, the collection began selling while I was in Hong Kong for work (for a whole month) where there is definitely no Kohl's. Thus, as you can imagine, I rushed straight to Kohl's to check out the new line when I returned home. This classic black romper is the first Peter Som item that I purchased, and I love it! The fabric is great, and although they may be hard to see in these photos, there are three button accents on the left shoulder - love the attention to detail. If you check out the Peter Som collection online, you'll notice that there is a quote which reads, "wear clothes that make you feel happy". Well, this adorable romper definitely makes me feel happy! Have y'all tried out any of the Peter Som items yet?!

Happy Tuesday! If you weren't already smiling, I hope you are now... seriously, how cute is my little Brutus?  

If you're able to get past Brutus, you just might be drooling over my leopard shoes - how freaking adorable are they?! I picked these up this past February for myself at Marshall's (major #fabfound) and loved them so much that I got a pair for my Best Friend as her birthday gift (she was actually in Miami this past weekend and wore them with lots of cute skirts/dress... I love how versatile they are!)

Fun shoes are one of my favorite accessories because they can so easily and effortlessly turn the simplest of outfits into something interesting and fun! How do you spruce up your simple looks?

Happy Monday :) I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! The weather in Chicago is finally looking up - it was absolutely gorgeous here yesterday...which means maybe I can start breaking out my spring/summer wardrobe (for more than just my blog photos)! We made it, y'all - Happy Friday! After a long week of traveling, I'm so ready for the weekend:) Speaking of weekends...it's that time of year when my weekends begin to fill up with wedding and baby showers. For wedding and baby showers, I always like to wear something like this dress - colorful, charming and girlie.  I just love the length of this dress, the vibrant color and the scalloped hem!
