TGIF - I hope y'all had a great week! If you read my previous post, or if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I'm currently in Europe. I spent a few days in Amsterdam over the past weekend (it was so beautiful), have been in London for work this week, and head to Paris with my sweet Mom on Sunday for a week long vacation! Hopefully you'll bear with me over the next week or so (and forgive me for the past week), as my posts may be a little irregular.  Anyhow, aren't these shorts adorable?! I love them because they are comfortable, yet stylish and sophisticated - perfect for my trip and a day spent sightseeing!

Three-In-One...

Happy Friday! I'm off to Europe tonight for a 2-week trip (half work, half play), and I thought it would be fun to show how I create several different looks with one outfit in an effort to keep my packing light. Since I travel so much for work, I feel like I've gotten VERY good at this (although, I guess I haven't had much a choice, huh)! However, traveling extensively or not, I still like to purchase pieces that I know I can wear several different ways for several different occasions. Being able to create several different looks out of one item allows me to get the most out of my clothes, and most importantly, more bang for my buck (this is how I justify it to my husband anyways, hehehe)! 

For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you know that I just recently purchased this dress from Target. In my opinion, this dress is PERFECT for creating multiple looks, as the shape, cut and fabric make it appropriate for a variety of occasions!

I'm so excited about today's look! I found this top while shopping with my Mom at T.J.Maxx over the Fourth of July Holiday, and although I had long been looking for a white lace top, I wasn't initially sure about this one. At the time, I couldn't really picture how I'd wear it, or with what in my closet I could wear it, but my Mom convinced me that it was too cute to pass up... especially for $14.99! I guess it's really true what they say about Moms - that they are ALWAYS right - because my Mom couldn't have been more right about this top... I'm so glad I didn't pass it up!

I didn't intend to wear this top with these fun bright colors...it kind of happened accidentally as a result of my being too lazy to take off the pink cami I'd been wearing all day when I decided to try this top on just for fun, heheh. Once I had decided on the pink underlay, I added black jeggings and the neon yellow bib necklace for some edgy contrast. What do y'all think about this look... how would you wear this top?!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope your week is going wonderfully so far... we're half way there! OK, can we talk about this dress from Target... do y'all love it as much as I do?! I recognize that it may appear to be a pretty basic maxi dress, but I'm completely obsessed with the olive green color and halter neckline - I feel like the styling possibilities are endless! Well-fitted solid color maxis are a closet staple for me in the summer months. I find that they are so easy to throw on, and I like being able to quickly change up my look via different accessories. This Friday, I'm actually heading to Europe for a couple of weeks (half work, half play), and I've already got this dress packed and plans to wear it multiple times/ways (woof... I hate the 50lb weight limit on checked baggage)!

Just a quick little hello today :) I've been searching for a floral blazer for what seems like forever, and I was so excited when I found this one at Charlotte Russe! The bright colors and asymmetrical cut make it different than the others I've seen, and it's mostly made out of cotton... so no awkward dinosaur hugs for me!

Happy Monday - I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend! Today I'm wearing one of my favorite maxi dresses that I picked up from T.J.Maxx. Of course, I absolutely adore the print (I've been semi-obsessed with anything animal print since the 6th grade), but more than that, I love how the corset-style top flatters my upper body. To create a look and feel that is perfect for a summer evening, I offset the dark black and brown tones of the dress with white accessories. Oh, and PS... this dress was only $14.99!

TGIF! I don't know about y'all, but I'm so ready for this weekend! Today I'm wearing a colorful high-low dress from Forever 21 that is too perfect for the warm summer months. The loose fit of this dress makes it a chic, yet comfortable, option for a date night on the town with my hubby. Speaking of date nights, Jason and I are doing dinner and a movie tonight - my absolute favorite kind of date! We're going to see Tammy (well, I'm making Jason see Tammy, hehehe).
